FREEDOM BY SAJA ZREBA

                                                               Freedom
Freedom what is freedom I wondered before why people take about it and the passion and sacrifice poured into that cause. I guess I did not know what it really means. It all happened when a simple non famous, poor, not well educated man burned himself. He did that because he felt that humanity cannot be free and that it does not exist. All of the Middle East countries is controlled by a single thought that who talk about freedom is a western agent or someone who is seeking to destroy our beloved country. This man proved them wrong he proved that freedom comes only by sacrifice and blood.
It all started in Tunisia when for the first time people realized that human life in the mi from the Middle East worth something. For decades dictators were controlling us telling us what to do how to do because just they prefer their own way. People came in the streets it was like the fear that was in them for 23 years vanished the dictator tried all his means but the cause was bigger and stronger than his police and fear factors tried to calm them but failed because people realized that lies are not of use any more so they got him out in 32 days it was the start of what the Tunisian people accomplished that mad all those countries people fear to vanish it was by a lady saying it in the march that kicked the dictator out “if the people wanted to live then the destiny must respond”. No one believe it will happened but it did and all the other dictators said it was a luck and it will never happened in our countries. Egypt came next the Egyptian dictator.
Every one said it will never happened in Egypt and that the Egyptian will not sacrifice their life for it but it did and it was amazing how on Friday 27 of January millions went to the streets and even the police himself had to retreat and from that day everyone knew that the dictator stepped down after 18 days of protest like this the second dictator ended.
All the eyes turned to Libya everyone knew that this tyrant days is over it is only matter of time even he knew it all of us sensed the fear in his speeches at 17 February the huge march started but this time there was a lot of blood people thought he made us surrender by this amount of blood but as the Tunisian lady said in the march “if the people wanted to live then the destiny must respond”. It took months but at the end he got out humiliated and killed.
We lost a lot of good people in the war from this tyrant but I believe that all the nations that revolted or going to revolt will never be the same and this was a massage the cause is stronger than fear.
