                                                           BMW

Bavarian Motor Works is one of the most famous car companies in
the world. This company came to existence in the year 1917 as an
aircraft engines company but then after the War World 2 it started
producing motor cycles engines exactly in the year 1923.
In my opinion BMW makes the best luxury and sports cars in the world because it combines technology with classical which results in the existence of a master piece. BMW produces 4 sedans cars series 7, series 5, series 3 series 1, it also produces 3 SUV’s X6, X5 AND X3.
BMW gained many awards such best engine award in the year 2008
and 2011, also best car of the year in the year 2009 and many other
awards. In my opinion the best car that BMW has ever made is
the BMW 5th series 2012 it has some spesifications that no car
in the world has in my opinion it’s the best car ever made and wish
when I get older I will be able to buy a BM.

FRIENDSHIP

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

This quote shows how friends or in other words best friends will react when you are in a difficult situation .

A Writer's Life

A long life with a deep constitution is bound to attract a contradictory emotion of lonely fulfillment. One may write to ease and comfort his fellow man in times of turbulence. For life rushes upon us like heavy currents in a river and often we need soft words to avail us through the dark waves of fortune. But here I write these letters to you, any who have been victims of despair, to remind you that radiant hope forever emanates from the dawn of the crimson mornings. Life continues and the sun always rises. With every tear we are cleansed, with every fall we may rise again, with every evil committed there shall always be love and hope to requite it. Every tear of humanity will one day be requited, suffering shall be reduced, and justice will be prevalent. Not only do I believe that man will persevere and surmount his obstacles but that he is immortal. Mankind is of the cosmos, the kingdom of God is within the heart of humanity, and when we compose we reveal more of ourselves. Often we confine our hearts to despair but through writing we can facilitate in suppressing the anguish that haunts our minds. So here I write to you in my utmost sincerity with the conviction of hope to remind you that love and justice always prevail in the face of evil. Every day we suffer and struggle against the oppressive forces of our absurd world but never yield, all great things are the denouement of endurance. And who am I? Writing to you, I am simply a man that has been gazing into the labyrinths of your hearts, desperately searching for a coruscating ray of ardency.

I am originally from Benghazi, but sadly I have never set foot there nor do I know much about it even though it's my hometown.
I was born and raised in Tripoli. It is what I first peeked and where I first trod. Tripoli occupies a great place in my heart. It is, without any exaggeration, my most beloved place on earth.

Words can never give justice to how much i cherish Tripoli. There is something about its air, sky, terrain, roads, and buildings, and no, it's not pollution and destruction. There's something about Tripoli that I can't grasp and convey through words, there's something about it that makes it magnificent.
For a capital of one of the world's richest countries, Tripoli is a disgrace. Libya is a disgrace itself, due to Gaddafi's 4 decades of systematical destruction and demolition. Nevertheless, Tripoli is the most majestic to me. Whenever I travel abroad I feel a huge void inside of myself, a void that only disappears the minute I arrive in that wreckage of an airport in Tripoli.

I consider Tripoli to be my hometown for I was born and reside in it. My love for Tripoli did not shine on me as an epiphany due to the revolution last year, unlike many people my age, I had loved it consciously and subconsciously ever since I was little.
I can honestly say that all of my loyalty belongs to Tripoli. During the war, my greatest fear was the subversion that could had come to it, the thought of Gaddafi hopelessly destroying it in his, what many Arab political analysers call "The Dead Chicken Waltz", was my deepest trepidation for 7 months. The day Tripoli was liberated was the greatest, most memorable day of my life.

Nothing could be more heinous to me than a long absence from Tripoli. I would never want to or stand leaving it without a prompt return. Tripoli is where I want to live and where I want my grave to be dug.
May God save our beautiful capital from any harm.

Abdelrouf’s best quotes

When I was a young man, I had liberty but I didn’t know it, I had life but I didn’t see it, I had love but I didn’t feel it, it took me decades to understand the meaning of all three.”

This quote was said by Ezio Auditore just before he died, explaining his experience in his life and how he was running for the demands of his soul making him forget his life and his beloved ones. He was an assassin, a silent force of justice and peace of his village.

I like this quote, because it represents all the experiences that Ezio gained throughout his lifetime, along with feelings kept deep inside him due to hard choices that he has to overcome as well as self-sacrifice for his people to live freely and happily, in which a proverb says “With great power comes great responsibility”.

FACEBOOK

Facebook is a social networking service and website launched in February 2004, operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc. As of January 2012, Facebook has more than 800 million active users. Users must register before using the site, after which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, and exchange messages, including automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists such as "People From Work" or "Close Friends". The name of the service stems from the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by some university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other. Facebook allows any users who declare themselves to be at least 13 years old to become registered users of the site.

That awkward moment when......

That awkward moment when you proudly do mental math, yet double check on a calculator just to see if you were right.

That awkward moment when you look fine in front of the mirror then as soon as you take a picture you look like a troll.

That awkward moment when the only thing you know on your test is the date and your name.

That awkward moment when you can’t stop laughing while telling a joke and when you are finally done, your friends don’t even get it.

That awkward moment when you’re waiting for the loser to finish at Mario kart

That awkward moment when the dentist asks you a question while his hands are in your mouth

That fails moment when you think you did really well on a test but actually got a 68%.

That fail moment when someone says “Happy Birthday!” to you, and you respond “thanks you too”.

That fails moment after sending a message when you realize you’ve made a grammar mistake.

That awkward moment when you chew someone else's pen.

That awkward moment when people constantly say "You know?" It’s like, why are you telling me stuff I know? You know?

That awkward moment when you’ve already said what? Three times and still have no idea what the person said, so you just agree.

That awkward moment when your parents tell you to stay in the line when you're shopping, and when you're almost near the cashier, they're not even back yet.

That awkward moment when you are talking in the class with your friend and everybody shuts up and you end up shouting something you didn't want others to hear.

That awkward moment when someone yells at you for clicking a pen but you have to click it one more time to use it.

That awkward moment when you fail at being mad at somebody because they make you laugh.

That awkward moment when you sleep over at a friends and wake up before they do and all you can do is stare at the ceiling.

That awkward moment when you realize you’re walking in the wrong direction, so you hit your pockets pretending you forgot something.

That awkward moment when you say the wrong answer to a question aloud in class confidently.

That awkward moment when you’re typing without looking at the screen, then you look up and find out you haven’t typed a thing.

That awkward moment when you are singing happy birthday but you don’t know the name of the person so you just mumble at the name part...

That awkward moment when you drop a coin in front of a homeless person...

that awkward moment when you look both ways down a one way street.

That awkward moment when you ask somebody what they are wearing to an event and they respond I’m not invited.

That awkward moment when you get caught in a lie.

That awkward moment when you get mad at someone and slam the door then realize you have forgotten something so you have to go back.

That awkward moment when the internet goes down so you have to use your book to find the answers.

That awkward moment when someone asks Have you two met? And you reply No while the other person says 'Yes.'

That awkward moment when you’re walking out of a room like a model and your bag hooks on the door handle.

A libyan heros wedding!

'As he hopped down the stairs all you can see was a sea of people crying for this beautiful heros wedding and all you can hear was 'ALLAHO AKBAR!' in the background. To see a true hero's, biggest dream come true was so overwelming and powerful that all you could do was cry out of joy. A true hero that deserves the best!' -Majda Lagha.

My mother, Majda Lagha, had the opportunity to help and be part of a Tawars wedding on Thursday 26th of January 2011, and heres the out come of agroup of people willing to do anything to help out with a man who faught for there country.

Anas Mohammed Bowsa3ala, is a misuratie fighter, who has risked his life for the better of this country for 6 months, fighting until the very last moment he could, for you see he lost his leg and arm in battle. Not only that but while he was off fighting his sister, mother and brother got killed by Gaddafis forces. All he had left in this world was his a sister.

A couple of months back a women, Ebtisam 'mother of the heros.' saw his story on a news channel, promising herself that as soon as the war was over she was going to find this man and help him start a family of his own.

Ebtisam has done just that, for she was the one that found him a month back, she was the one that got him a beautiful wife that will forever appreciate him and she was the one that got a group of libyans together to pay for his wonderful fairy tale wedding.

You see, Bowsa3ala, doesnt have much in his life, he grow up in a poor family and when his father died he and his brother were put in charge to look after his mother and two sisters, now with his family all gone and his only sister left married, he only had himself in this world, with nothing but his heroic acts to his name, but like us muslims say 'God gives for those in need, for he is the all merciful all giving all kind.'

And like a miracle from the sky, Mrs. Ebtisam arranged everything for this wedding, making it a truly an unforgatable evening. Not only that but a man also agreed to pay for his travel to germany to get him a prosthetic arm and leg, and another family has given him a house for him and his newly wife and hopefully soon to be children.

YOU KNOW WHAT: sometimes fairy tales really do exist <3

exam week

so im sitting here in front of the computer stressing out about what im going to right since the deadlines TODAY and i havent even started on my final two blogs, when a thought came up: has anyone REALLY started studying for there exams yet? i mean it starts after tomorrow, is it just me or does it feel like we still have another month left before the exams?? owww god cramming all the information is gannaa bee BAD but honestly i just cant get my self to stand up right now open a book and start studying, to much time wasting i think untill i get to the exam and stare at the page my first thought 'owww poo im screwed!' shortly followed by ' i swear next time im studying ATLEAST a week ahead' when i know deep now that, thats all lies and next exam im ganna be stuck in the same position saying the same thing and not doing anything about it.

why cant exams be based on movies? i mean i swear if they were i'd be an A+ student EASILY! but nooo has to be on a book, which in my personal opinion isnt even good. why not a funny book, you know like comedy style? that would be jokes to read in class esp. if we got Simo reading it in character voices :).

oww welll education isnt goin to change now :( only acouple of years left till uni :D which now seems like is ganna be great fun i just wish when were actually there it is ganna be great fun since this time we cant blame the fact that we 'have to take all the subjects EVEN ones we dont like!' because by then its all on us, we chose what we take and we chose if were actually bothered to go to class or not and we chose how succesful we want to be. Lets just hope we all make the right choices.

Time to start on my next blog, i just wish that the next one is abit more interesting to read then this one, if anyone besides Ms.Laila even reading it out of choice :P

love,
Mariam Xxx

Easy Way To Pass The Exams with an A+

Exams are upon us once again. They don't seem that important until they are a few days away. We start to rush to get all the missing notes and what's included in the exams. We come home tired from school and hit the books. We study for hours upon hours to prepare for a piece of paper with words on it. In the old ages men prepare and train for hours to fight a war, not to answer a bunch of measly questions.

How tasteless life is turned into by exams. Constantly studying page after page about things I shall soon forget. These two weeks shall pass, then back to the old routine. Barely studying, and doing nothing until the next time I encounter the horrid, foul exams. Your were probably expecting an easy way out weren't you. Well there isn't. So deal with it and go hit the books.

Guitar

Instruments come in many different shapes andsizes. There are hundreds of different types but the greatest of them all is theguitar. It is the core of many genres of music. There are three types of guitar. The acoustic guitar, classic guitar and electric guitar. The acoustic guitar iswhat you hear in many western country songs. It has this somewhat metallicsound to it. The classic guitar is what you would hear in Spanish music andsoothing instrumental music. It sounds quite light and has a more refined senseof elegance compared to its counterparts.

The electric guitar is probably the mostpopular. Anything played on the electric guitar will sound awesome. It is theeasiest to play out of all three. Also the most fun to jam on.

The amount of guitar players in Libya suddenly sky rocketed after therecent revolution. I never thought that there was this much talent around.Someday a Libyan band will become famous and recognized globally.

Video Games are Helpful

Video games have been around since the early80s and have evolved much since then. They bring us much joy and entertainment. They set us in these engaging worlds much different than our own. Many peoplemay think video games are a waste of time. Nothing is achieved by playing thesegames, but I disagree.

Studies on video games have shown that video games actually help in thedevelopment of a child. Children’s minds strengthen through strategy andproblem solving games. Their reflexes become better through shooting games.Other games help expand and widen a child’s imagination.

At a school in the U.S. a teacher uses videogames to teach his class of 6th graders. These educational gameshave actually shown a 70% in academic performance. The material being taught isn’tseen as work, but as play. The Children can’t wait to start their homework andstudy for the test. Of course too much of anything never results in somethinggood. Everything in moderation brings out the best in a nation

Sci-Fi innovates Science

The Sci-Fi universe is a dimension of endless possibilities, from rayguns to giant mechanical suits of armor to space ships. It shapes what we thinkmight be the future. It triggers our vast imagination and allows us to thinkbeyond the horizon. What people might think is impossible is someone else'sgoal.

Much of today’s science was once known as science fiction. Theunderwater car, rocket ships, underwater trains, airplanes, remote controlleddrones, etc…. And now what you see in movies is already being studied and indevelopment. Artificially intelligent robots are not as far as you might think.Lightsabers have been predicted to be invented in about 50 years from now.Brainwaves are being read and interpreted by machines. The list just goes onand on. Some findings and proofs are so farfetched that you will never believeit unless you see them with your own eyes. Who knows? They might even figureout a way to transfer the conscience of human to another body someday too. ScienceFiction sets the guidelines to the future.
