RUSSEL PETERS

Stand-up comedy is a great way of entertainment. There are many different comedians from different parts of the world that do stand up comedies. My favorite comedian is Russell Peters.

Russell Peters is an originally Indian, Canadian citizen. He was born in Canada and lived his whole life there up till this moment. He has traveled to many places around the world so he got to know many different cultures and different traditions. He shows that through his shows when he shares jokes about these of people and his experiences he had with them. He had shows on Arabs, Indian, Italians, Chinese, and Jamaican and many others. He has also done other great comedies like “Beating your kids” and another one on women ,which is called “Women are thinkers!” and the hilarious “How to become a Canadian citizen.” One of my very favorites and many others favorite is called “Be a man” in which he is offered a discount of 50 cents on the prize of an object that a Chinese man sells. The ability he has of imitating different accents is jaw-dropping. In his shows, Russell does not mean to offend certain cultures or countries, he tries to keep it clean and he sometimes apologizes if he thinks people think he is being rude which he really isn’t, it’s just comedy! He is just way too funny to be hated. People from all over the world go to see his shows. I remember once he asked the audience, “Are there any Arabs in the house tonight?” and one of them said he was from Libya.

Even though I have never been to a live show of Russell Peters, all the ones I’ve seen were on YouTube, I wish one day I could for I know it would be a hell of a night.
