CAUSES OF THE EXPANSION OF DESERTS

There are many causes for the expansion of deserts . one cause is that our planet's changing climate. where the world is becoming warmer and drier everday. This leads to less water to support plants and animals which leads to expansion of the deserts.

Another is the exploitation of the land by humans . This mainly brings about deforestation. At the end what is remaining of trees and shrubs are cut down for fuel where the roots of it help to hold the soil together and also stop it from being eroded by the wind and rain.
