Mrs.Shapiro....

Woke up after 30 years of sleep
Annie Shapiro, a 79 years old granny who feel a sleep into a coma
at age of 50 in 1963.
(when I went to sleep, I was darn good looking woman, but in the
mirror, all I see is an old lady with bags around her eyes, wrinkles
and grey hair) as she said, she could not believe that her husband
Martin is 81 years old as she left him at the age of 0 and her 25
years old daughter is a 55 years old woman and a mom of 2 kids
and her 16 years old son is a father of 2 kids to.
Mrs. Shapiro was watching the news reports on the assassination of
the US president John F.kennedy on her black and white TV when
she suffered a massive stroke, for the next years she stayed
paralyzed with her eyes wide open, so her husband had to put drops
in her eyes every few hours to keep them from drying out.
Years passed, her brother and sisters died along with most of her
friends, the Vietnam War ended, astronaut Neil Armstrong walked
on the moon and the world entered the computer and cell phones
age.
I was lying beside her bed, said her husband, (when she sat up and
said: turn on the TV, I want to watch I love Lucy show) it was like a
dead person come to life “as he commented.
Mrs. Shapiro got her first shock when she looked on the colored TV
then she asked her husband (who was 30 years elder than what she
expected) to call her son as she kept him outside the house for
crashing the family car 30 years ago, when she realized he is a
father, after moths she started getting the new world with wireless
phones and colored TVs.
The most romantic part is there renewed love as he said” when I
made my marriage vows and promised to stay together in sickness
and health, I meant it.
Sadly her husband died after 3 years and she lived alone for extra 2
years before she die at the age of 85 in 1998.
