chameleons are ne of the most amazing reptiles taht have lived on earth , that is because they have adapted to the nature by time and have learned to create aome sort of illusion to them selves and taht is by changing their colour to what ever object or tree their on . chameleons lso have a tail that helps helps them to hold on it their feet arent getting a grip on a tree branch . we call tails that could be used in such a way like this " prehensile " , but chameleons are famous of the way they blend on with there surroundings not just by colour but by the way they look and react with the environment . this is called " camouflage " . with other reptile and aphibians u can find out that this is not a rare case to find and that is because they are small so they need to find a way to protect themselves and that is by blending in with the environment and their suroundings . chameleons are a highly efficient hunting mchiene they have long ttongues taht could catch a fy in a fraction of a second and to draw it back into its mouth . but what is more helpful to the chameleon is that its eyes move in seperate dierection , it can look into two directions at teh same time and taht will offcourse help it more in its hunting method . although that the chameleon is a slow mover like some other reptiles its tongue speed balances its skills . taht can also bee used in an advantage for them and taht is because once they hunt they become barely noticable for the prey that they are after. chameleons are considered to be the second fastest hunters right after crocadiles. chameleons do not like to be kept in a closed place and that is because they get every thing they need for the trees taht they live on ad u can tell when a chameleon is angry and that is when its colour turns into deep black and sometimes it might even have yellow spots on its body .
